Alpaca owners' with less than 1 year of experience
Individuals ready to purchase their first alpaca

Program Description:
Participant/Mentor design a custom program during a 30 minute teleconference
6 hours of hands on activities in content areas of choice. For example: Shelter Design, Reproduction, Animal Husbandry, etc...
All activities 1 on 1 with mentor
All activities take place on an operating alpaca farm
1 year of free telephone support

Schedule: 9am-12noon activities, 12noon to 1pm lunch (provided) and 1pm-4pm activities
Program Learning Objectives:
Participant should leave program with an average proficiency of performance in the content areas of choice. Notebook reinforcing content areas provided to participant at the end of the program. One year of free telephone support.
Mentor Bio
Your mentor, Jeff Carleton, has been a full-time alpaca owner and breeder since 1997. He offers advanced experience in all aspects of the alpaca industry. This experience comes with time tested tempering and a foundational belief that no one person or group ever has all the answers. What Jeff does offer is an experienced hand of guidance to develop your own success story using a mentorship strategy. He looks forward to meeting and working with you one on one. Fees & Registration Information:
Total fee is $500.00 with $50 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit and balance of $450 due on date of program (we will notify you via email within 24hrs to confirm your selected date). Mentorship programs are available 7 days a week, May through September.
